I will be spending my next birthday on the island but staying at Aulani is a bit out of my price range. May go for a nice dinner when we take a scenic drive around the island. Any suggestions by those who have been?

I haven't had the privilege of experiencing Aulani yet. Here is a link to the Aulani Folder on MPT Drive. It contains some brochures and menus from the Resort.
I am also mailing you a few things about Aulani. Keep an eye on your mailbox! 
Don't forget that on a Aulani vacation you can put down a small deposit and make payments which can help make it do-able.
Hopefully one of our helpful members that has visited the resort can offer some first hand advice. |

Yes, I understand about the payment options.
Another thing that is a negative in my opinion is that Aulani's location is well off the beaten path. There are many things that I would like to do on the island and most of them are not on this side of the island. Would have to get a rental car for most of the vacation.
